“Omakotiliitto on Suomessa alan ainoa valtakunnallinen, poliittisesti sitoutumaton kansalaisjärjestö, jonka keskiössä on, pientalo- ja vapaa-ajan asukkaiden edunvalvonta- ja palvelujärjestönä toimiminen. Noin 230 jäsenyhdistystä, joissa yhteensä vajaat 70 000 henkilöjäsentä (kotitaloutta). Omakotiliitto tekee edunvalvontatyötä kansallisella ja EU-tasolla. Jäsenyhdistykset tekevät edunvalvontatyötä paikallisella ja alueellisella tasolla. Omakotiliitto tarjoaa yhdessä paikallisyhdistysten kanssa jäsenille tietoa ja neuvontaa sekä tuemme jäseniä pitämään kotinsa ja lähiympäristönsä hyvässä…”
