What this figure is. These are self-declared annual budgets for lobbying the EU institutions - Commission, Parliament and Council together. They are not audited, not Parliament-only, and are widely treated as a floor rather than a ceiling. Figures are the latest declaration on record, with spelling variants of the same organisation merged by register ID. We have budgets for 1,859 organisations, so the true totals are higher still.
